T.pow. Born in Germany. The roots in Far East.
It unifies body and spirit as well as it combines advantages of three traditional Chinese disciplines.
The agility of TaiChi, the meditative spirit of QiGong and the effectivity of WingTsung.
At TaiChi the principle of slowness dominates. Out of corresponding movements an inner balance arises and supports the concentration ability onto the TaiChi-practices. Calmly liquid movement schemes combine health, meditation and martial arts.
At QiGong on the other hand attention aims toward inside. Therefore for example it suits for less hale persons. Intention is to attain an inner flow, to control life vigour, the Qi and strengthen the will with constant practice. Similar to TaiChi, respiration, posture and consciousness will be connected and unified.
WingTsung is an old Chinese martial art. It is based on speed, highly efficient and contains all combat distances and tactics against one or several assailants. Everyone, irrespective how young or old, masculine or feminine can learn these techniques to fend and overwhelm opponents without using brute force.
T.pow. More than the sum of individual parts
All these elements have been combined and concentrated into new movement schemes, T.pow. But its not merely a simple sequence and mixing of the established disciplines. T.pow is more than the sum of them. It is a completely novel and up to now unknown training, absolutely coherent and self contained. The practices and exercises are finely synchronized with each other.
T.pow. A tender and gentle system.
An essential part of the practices of T.pow orientates at WingTsung traced back to the Buddhist nun NGMui. In her opinion KungFu style the monks practised in the legendary Shaolin cloister was too hard and rigorous and ultimately not actual. She developed with WingTsung a system also women can succeed against physically superior opponents.
T.pow. Discovery of own strength and abilities.
So the features of body control were refined again and again and adapted according to new needs. T.Pow now is the ultimate expression for that development. Completely in the tradition of the Far Eastern philosophy T.pow succeed in overcoming of apparent extremes. It combines speed with slowness and vigilance with meditation.
Although based on the elements of martial arts T.pow is not a combat art. In spite of its highly fitness oriented focusing its also not a pure fitness program, nor it is an identification process course. Simultaneously individuals have the chance to discover unknown abilities.
Last but not least practising an effective self-defence system includes anti-aggression effects. In this context the impact and engagement of T.pow in youth work is a value contribution for less aggression in the world. Body awareness and self-respect instead of combat culture in Rambo style.
T.pow. Gentle system for every type and age.
T.pow pursues a clear line but does not exclude anything. So this highly
effective system of body training corresponds with every type and every
age. Everyone can do it and discover as much new abilities inside as he
or she wants. As an especially tender and gentle system T.pow also
provide practicing in a very specific field, the water- therapy. This "AquaChi"
is extremely qualified with hinge problems but also in the wide range of
health rehabilitation.
T.pow. Hinge preserving training in 6 steps.
Movements are no torsion but continuous windings. They will be processed highly concentrated, calm and fast after some time of practising. In this way muscle and tendon shortenings as well as acampsia will be repaired. Also longitudinal musculature will be strengthened.
The hinge preserving training enhances coordination requirements,
balance sensations and processing of senses. The nerve stream and centre
will be released downright and the sensor system will be increased in
efficiency. The practicing person realizes a new form of body experience.
Already after a few days he or she feels first success. People describe
it as follows: "Man runs differently, sits differently, breathes
differently, moves in a different way."
However as quick as the first fruits will be harvested - T.pow is not a snapshot program. First the body will be made fit and armed in a 6-step program.
1. Harmonious balance and correct standing
2. Correct respiration
3. Practises of lengthening
4. Practices of coordination
5. Partner exercises
6. Implementation oft self-defence
